The ceremony venue was filled with cheerful music and festive cheers. Brimming with excitement and vitality, the grand launch event officially kicked off a new chapter of intelligent manufacturing for Zhejiang Samcien.
On the afternoon of October 28, the commissioning ceremony of Zhejiang Samcien Smart Factory was grandly held in Jiashan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zhejiang Province. More than 200 guests, including representatives from the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (Chinese Academy of Sciences), local governments, clients, industry experts, partners and shareholders, gathered to witness this significant milestone.
The official launch of the smart factory marks a crucial step forward in the large-scale mass production of the company’s advanced electronic materials, solidifying its strategic vision of striving to become a leader in the advanced electronic materials industry.
The official launch of Zhejiang Samcien’s smart factory marks the company’s transition from construction to formal operation. Adhering to innovation-driven development and quality-oriented principles, the company strives to build a benchmark for safe, green and efficient smart manufacturing. Serving as a core engine for corporate growth, the factory will contribute Samcien’s strength to the independent and controllable development of China’s integrated circuit industry.
Shenzhen Samcien Semiconductor Materials Co., Ltd. was incubated and founded in 2016 by the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. As a national high-tech enterprise, it focuses on the R&D, production and sales of pan-semiconductor materials. The company delivers systematic solutions and key materials for three major strategic emerging sectors: advanced packaging, power devices and new displays.
Zhejiang Samcien New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2023. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shenzhen Samcien Semiconductor Materials Co., Ltd., it undertakes the full-process mass production of core products and is the company's exclusive production base in China.
The company is located in the Chemical Cluster of Jiashan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. Covering an area of 35 mu, it features a 24,000-square-metre smart manufacturing plant with clean workshops and an MES production management system, enabling large-scale production of advanced electronic materials.
