Recently, the R&D project "Key Electronic Information Materials" jointly applied by Samcien Semiconductor and its partners has been successfully approved as part of Guangdong Provincial Key Field R&D Program. With the support of special provincial science and technology funds, the project team aims to develop key materials and complete sets of equipment for ultra-thin chip processing, build a relevant patent portfolio, fill the gaps in the domestic industry, and support the development of a secure ecosystem for China's integrated circuit industry.
This marks Samcien Semiconductor's first approval for funding under a provincial key special project since its establishment four years ago.
