On the morning of April 20, 2024, the grand groundbreaking ceremony took place for the new 225-ton production base for advanced pan-semiconductor packaging materials of Zhejiang Samcien New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samcien Semiconductor, under the theme of "Forging Chips with Materials, Embracing the Future with Innovation".

Located in Jiashan National Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zhejiang Province, the base has a planned investment of 170 million yuan, covering an area of 35.04 mu with a building area of 23,360 square meters. It aims to build a leading smart factory for advanced pan-semiconductor electronic materials in the industry. More than 150 attendees including Tao Hongya, Member of the Standing Committee of Jiashan County Party Committee and Vice County Magistrate, leading officials from county government departments and the development zone, industry experts, partners and company staff were present at the ceremony.
